I know I use a real server too.

But why even offer the tiny server if it's not what people expects it
to be.
They could have cut cost even more by not implementing it at all.

Maybe it's marketing or are what ? that jacks up the expectations, I
never expects the embedded server to replace a real server it's not
possible given cpu etc.

Or the market research gone wrong. People always wanted a slim/logitech
branded server solution here it is.
Is it good enough for most users ? then it's probably ok ?

Market research can be off, remember the CD changers, they figured that
people in general had 100-200 CD's .
Now with ubiquitous file sharing all over everybody seems to have
collections of formidable size, even if they are not particularly
interested in music.

I don't count the 100000 files 2TB USB discs guys as representative ;)
They clearly have their expectations set to high, such collections
needs a serious server to be handled properly whether these people
realize it or not.

Touch is an excellent player btw
