Hi, I love the whole concept of the Squeezebox model, and I am fairly
tech savvy but need help regarding the ins and outs of hi-fi sound,
DACs, etc.

My first question boils down to:

1. I purchased a Pioneer 919-AHk home theater receiver last year and
have Energy Take Classic 5.1 surround speaker setup. I am considering
getting the Squeezebox Touch so that I can enjoy my music library and
my Rhapsody subscription through my entertainment system. (Currently I
listen through my desktop's 2.1 speaker setup...crappy)

Here is my receiver's specs:

* Power Output: 7 x 120 watts (1 kHz, THD 0.05 %, 8 ohms)
* Audio formats supported: DTS®-HD, DTS® Express, Dolby® TrueHD,
and Neural-THX Surround
* Phase Control bass management system
* Stream Direct for pure and unprocessed digital sound playback
* 192 kHz/24-bit DAC
* Digital audio connections: 2 optical inputs, 1 digital coaxial
input
* 5.1-channel pre-amp input
* Subwoofer pre-amp output

Logitech markets the Touch as having "Audiophile" components, but I am
not sure what I will be gaining over the receiver I currently have,
etc. Is my receiver the better DAC?? I want to get my feet wet with an
awesome hi-fi audio system that I can use with Rhapsody. What should I
be doing??

Thanks,
TP
