Hit the nail on the head as usual Mr.Swenson. In my case, wired from NAS then analogue out to ATC amps/speakers the differences after implementing the SW changes are incontrovertible and all involve upside, no downside. Playing music & fiddling with my hi-fi is pretty much all I do in my spare time & I know most of the records I play extremely well. For records I have a lot of emotional investment in I find that even the most marginal increase in fidelity gives me a payback which more than compensates for all the time, effort & general faffing about involved. I am very grateful to John. S & Soundcheck for their efforts & am tantalised at the screen removal without reaching for a screwdriver option John mentioned.
