Answer, *NO!* The Touch sounds great without attempting to 'Tweak It'.
Are some people always going to be looking for more? Yes they are and
most of them will end up being conned or spending more money then it
takes to buy the next model up the chain in the first place. If there
were 'Free Tweaks', don't you think the manufacture with all their
resources would have included them to improve their own product? Stop
and actually think about that one for a minute.

In my limited testing so far over the weekend, the so called 'Tweaks'
haven't shown any improvements. Not any noticeable audio change and no
difference in the baseline graph vs the software tweak graph!

More importantly, the reason for buying a Touch is for the features.
Anybody can buy a USB DAC and play music from a PC. The whole idea of
Squeezebox is it "Frees Ones Music" from being tied to the location of
the computer. WiFi means the Touch is free to be placed at the Stereo
instead of the Stereo placed at the PC with a USB DAC.

Lastly, if some improvement does show up as my testing continues, I
feeling fairly sure it is not going to be something night and day. It
will most likely be something very minuet which would need a system so
expensive to enable one to hear it that one would not be using a Touch
in that system anyway!

So buy and keep your Touch unless you should have bought a Transporter
in the first place!
