The "power button" does not reboot, it doesn't even have anything to do
with "power", it just stops anything playing and runs the "off mode"
screensaver. 

There are two main ways to reboot, unplug the power cord, or press the
little tiny button on the back just above the power jack. The restore
factory settings will also reboot. 

Each time the server starts it goes through every file on the disk,
determines which ones it is interested in, and looks those up in its
database. If its new it does a full scan on the file. Just the "check
for new files" can take a long time if you have a LOT of files.
