Think of it this way. You can buy a porsche and you can buy a Ferrari. I sort of think about the TOUCH as the Porsche and the TRANSPORTER as the Ferrari. Both are very, very good digital transports. These touch mods are sorta equivalent to taking your new Porsche to the custom racing shop for some improvements. That is, not something that will improve your normal street driving of the Porsche. Marginally better, yes perhaps.
