In spite of what Mr. Rubinson has written saying that my musings were way off base I remain in complete agreement with the statement quoted above. Logitech does not pay the bills for Stereophile nor does the CEO of Logitech come over to a reviewer's house to lend a hand with the set up of a piece of Logitech equipment under review. And so I fear that once again the Squeezebox Touch, which comes with just under 10 years of networked music player development behind it (the first Slim Devices player, the SLIMP3, was introduced in 2001), will get short shift to most of the Johnny-Come-Lately units from established high end manufacturers. Alas the letters "UPnP" do not a networked music player make. -- ralphpnj Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels -> Snatch -> The Transporter -> Transporter 2 'Last.fm' (http://www.last.fm/user/jazzfann/) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ralphpnj's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10827 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=81346 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
