What you are calling "motive" is really more like bias and perhaps in light of what Mr. Farrell wrote, a very benign, if somewhat unavoidable, bias. Again all I can hope for is that the reviewer manages to look past these biases when reviewing equipment from a lesser known manufacturer. pfarrell;571523 Wrote: > This is a most bizarre thread. I'm quite sure that the upcoming review will say that the Touch is big improvement over the Squeezebox Classic and that the Touch delivers a level of performance far above its meager price (in high end audio dollars$$$). Where I fear that the review will fall short is in making any realistic comparisons between the Touch (with and without the use of an external DAC) and other top rated high end digital audio source components. But as Kal says perhaps I'll be pleasantly surprised. -- ralphpnj Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels -> Snatch -> The Transporter -> Transporter 2 'Last.fm' (http://www.last.fm/user/jazzfann/) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ralphpnj's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10827 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=81346 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
