None of my amps have digital inputs, so I can't answer this first hand, but search around on the forums a bit and you'll find a _lot_ of users saying that the digital outputs of the Touch are better than those on the SB3. These perceptions are also backed up by some credible explanations about cleaner signal paths in the Touch.
