I'm by no means an audiophile, but I don't understand by what logic the digital outputs of the Touch would somehow be better than the digital outputs of the SB3. Is the ethernet connection on the SB3 also less reliable than the ethernet connection on the Touch? It's also a digital link. I don't understand why a stream of 1's and 0's from one device would be different than another...but that's probably my own ignorance. It is hard to cut through audiophile voodoo, sometimes, however.
