Tracking or not, they work. I guess I'm not the paranoid type. ;) I suppose if you had some DNS blocking issue from an install years prior I suppose such cleaners may not have found that and removed/fixed it. I dunno. But I'd sure try those before an OS reinstall. But that's me.
