@Mnyb The problem with Equalization is that you usually don't only want ton reduce the level of a certain range, you also want to be able to increase it (I think it's what the OP wants. Actuall I believe his _real_ problem is, as usual, different volume level because the mp3 player will do dynamics compression). However, if you want to increase the volume for a certain frequency range you need margin or you will have to do a dynamics compression. In the analog domain, going too high will always work. It will sound badly and give you the chance to re-think your choice, but it will work....
Try the equalizer in iPeng and see what happens when you pull everything up to see what I mean. Although I'm not 100% sure what iOS does there, iPeng can use 24 bits internally, but I'm not 100% sure iOS does, although I _know_ it usually outputs at 24 bit width over USB audio, even if you are listening to 16 bit music so I assume it will convert to 24 bit internally, too. Not that it would make a difference with pulling balance controls UP.... ------------------------------------------------------------------------ pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=96776 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
