Why? [1] The spot where I want the SBT to sit is far enough away from my router that I don't trust the stability of the wireless connection (based on my experience with my laptop when I have it there); I want my listening to be free from glitchy interruptions;
[2] Even though it's possible that, for these purposes "bits are bits", I've heard anecdotal reports of WiFi-transmitted audio data yielding sound quality inferior to data coming through wires.
