If you have problems with WAV files , "the NAS can not transcode " FLAC PCM > Disabled and probaly WAV > Native would make it work . NB if everything works you dont need to change anything at all , most LMS distros adapt these settings to fit the platform , some NAS vendors for example have different defaults than a full computer install . And further there is absolutely no point at all transcoding FLAC to WAV on the server .
