I have done some testing on my 7.8 server and it works fine except that Touch cant play any alac >16/44.1 natively you need to keep the server transcoding on to play hirez alac . It probably got nothing to do if it's stereo or mono . What kind of computer are you using as server and what kind of OS and is it a 32 or 64 bit OS .
