I'm having a possibly related problem, I have some 24bit mono ALAC files that were converted from mono FLAC. They play fine in iTunes (same sound out of both speakers) but using Squeezeplay sound only comes from the left channel. I'd rather not convert the files just to play them in Squeezeplay if possible, I'm wondering if there is a setting I'm missing or if Squeezeserver/Squeezeplay simply can't read mono ALAC files as such?
