Perhaps I didn't wait long enough, but I assumed that when it says 'scanning complete' that it is ready to be connected to. There aren't really that many albums on that card.
But thanks for the suggestion! I didn't know it supported sharing feature!!! This makes it a helluvalot easier to put files on it. I don't want to run a separate data harddisk in my home, I live alone and have no need for that. I only use the Touch when I am away from the computer (ie. when it is turned off). So I just create a subset of my music and put it on that card. It should work fine, but it has been a bit disappointing thus far.
