Smart phones? What are those? But seriously, I hate cell phones. I have
a basic cell for emergency use only and that's it. :) Yes I'm very old
school.

In any case, I got it to work in only ten minutes after hooking up the
crossover cable. I haven't turned my receiver on yet but I played the
files, etc, and everything worked the same as when I was using the
TinySBS via my SD Cards.

For future reference, in case someone wants to do what I did...

On my Windows 7, I went to Local Area Connection Properties. I double
clicked on TCP/IPv4. I selected: 'Use the following IP address' and
changed the IP address to 192.168.1.100. (for the last number stay in
the 100 area) Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0 (defaults to this).

On the SBT side of things... When choosing a network, choose ethernet.
When it can't find anything, it will ask you to configure manually. For
IP address, type: 192.168.1.102 (101 should work too but I put
102...Don't put 100 like the PC is setup for). Everything else it asks
for is default. Now it will access the ethernet. Once this happens you
get two options. One is to setup the network again (you don't want to do
that) and the second option is: "Add new library". Click this. Then add
the IP address of the PC (Not the SBT). In my case 192.168.1.100.

Boom, it should connect.

Tonight I'm going to unplug my SBT as it looks like it could storm out.
I hope I don't have to do this again when I turn it back on.
