Do try at home I first it does seem to have nice feature set multiple
inputs and can be used as preamp . And balconied outputs if needed . But
if your only motivation is sound quality do try at home .

Important try to match volume levels when listening , this not the same
as having the same volume different DAC's and player can have different
output levels if you don't adjust for it the loudest will "win" try to
get it as close as 0,1-0,2 dB the closer the better .
I can easilly hear 0,5 DB so,that's not good enough to actually compare
stuff .

You can use USB with triodes EDO applet on the Touch but coax or onto
should work fine , coax will probably be the most compatible input .
Opto does not alway works well with HiRez files . The USB does not
support 176.4kHz

If the digital inputs works readable ok it would be futile to actually
hear any differences between inputs .

However opto provides galvanic isolation if needed ( note it only works
if the opto is the only conection to the Touch )
