I have a Benchmark DAC 2 D, fed by a Squeezebox Touch with the EDO extender. When used in coax mode, the DAC automatically switches to the appropriate resolution, depending on what comes down the pike. Not always so when used in USB mode. When that happens, I need to cycle the DAC through a USB 1.0 connection, and then back to USB 2.0, sometimes several times before it will lock onto the correct resolution. This happens both with and without an Uptone Regen in the chain. A real PITA as the USB tends to sound better than the coax in my system. Any idea or help to solve this problem will be greatly appreciated.
