They will unlikely help. I gave up on trying to use USB with Teac DAC
too. It is not reliable enough for casual use. Only newest Linux kernels
(3.5 and higher) fully support latest USB audio interfaces. In older
kernels (like used in SB) this is hit or miss, and mostly limited to USB
1.1. mode.
