I don't think a general consensus was ever established, but I guess we can all agree that some people think they heard differences in uncontrolled, sighted listening. By far the most digital and switching noise is generated by the digital circuitry in the touch itself. Looking at the power supply, the most important thing is not that the supply is as "clean" as possible, but that it can supply enough short-term peak current to feed the digital circuitry - something linear supplies and filter circuits tend to be poor at. > The latter will also help by freeing up system resources on what has to > be a pretty minimal system.
