I have started reading different threads in different forums so I gathered some understanding already. Still I want to layout my thoughts and acquire some opinions here.
2 points: i. As starter I don't care about online radio and such ii. I have 2 options for my setup: Option A: Install media server on Mybook Live, feed data via Ethernet into SBT, use EDO to send data into DAC via USB Option B: Mybook Live via USB to SBT, then coax to DAC (knowing that 176/192 kHz is out of question) My questions are: 1. What media server version I should be looking at? 2. My reading leads me to Option A due to my DAC able to clock better to deal with jitter. But Option B seems simpler because there's no need to install anything in Mybook Live. Am I missing anything important in my consideration? Thanks very much for reading this.
