Thanks for good information.

A few thoughts:

On (1) Pi is probably a good idea. I've been feeding music to DAC from
notebook for quite some years already, the idea to get SBT is have SBT
does the job instead of relying on a PC. But Pi may work well!

On (2) I'll test between WiFi and Ethernet, I prefer wired because most
of my files are FLAC, but we will see.

On (3) and (5) I didn't know coax can do 24/192, good to know.

So I was surprised to see that LMS running on SBT is not reliable. Any
more information on that? I was thinking bypassing the router will
simplify the data flow. I thought SBT should be able to decode files and
play music well by itself.
