Thanks for good information. A few thoughts:
On (1) Pi is probably a good idea. I've been feeding music to DAC from notebook for quite some years already, the idea to get SBT is have SBT does the job instead of relying on a PC. But Pi may work well! On (2) I'll test between WiFi and Ethernet, I prefer wired because most of my files are FLAC, but we will see. On (3) and (5) I didn't know coax can do 24/192, good to know. So I was surprised to see that LMS running on SBT is not reliable. Any more information on that? I was thinking bypassing the router will simplify the data flow.
