Thanks Shozzer I have a number of CDs already ripped to WAV at CD quality. I thought this would give the best sound quality and also be quickest as it does not need any conversion/encoding or compression. Am I missing something (other than file size). I would be happy to re-rip to FLAC if it offers advantages - particularly sound quality. I already use dBpoweramp and this seems to do a reasonable job of tagging most of the time. What does MP3tag "bring to the party"? Oh - and it will be mainly pop/rock with just a smattering of classical so having the composer will probably be sufficient for my needs. Is this a searchable tag with LMS? Thanks again. Alan
