Agreed with the notion that we do need to be selective of what goes in and
what not. There's a large area between nihilist and kitchen sink.

[On #31]

I fully agree that this is a functionality we *need* in Trac, users who do
not need the functionality will simply not use it, whereas other people (and
quite a lot) have been asking for the feature for a long time now. Either we
do it or we don't, but it is high time some definite answer with regard to
this.

With regard to MasterTickets, just blocks/blocked by will not cut it, in my
opinion, since the feature of parent/child is an essential one for quite a
many of our users. And as such the suggestion of Noah to close #31 since
MasterTickets is usable and stable does not reflect the request of the
ticket.

Contrary to our recent spat, I do value you work and would hope we can get
this resolved since I agree with at least part of your vision (although I do
not know the entirety).

Personally I believe that the nihilist stance of Trac will hurt the project
in the end. On the other hand I am also keenly aware that a kitchen sink
approach will not be beneficial either. So we need to strike a balance.

I guess it will have to come down to a voting for the feature set of base
Trac.
