Right, but I do not see how child/parent, blocks/blocked by, and such
relationships will be required for the user. They are some of an
administrative issue and if a user registers a ticket and we subsequently
hang it under a specific parent ticket it will only be a field displayed on
viewing the ticket, not on entering. So I think that is sort of a non-issue.

With regard to the UI, I agree, but at the same time we are also not making
full use of the browser's full width given to us. I do not think I am alone
in having a wide screen lcd monitor nowadays and even using my browser at
half the width of the monitor the Trac ticket data cuts that available width
in half. Not entirely useful in some ways.

I am not sure if I am more in favour of adding some key feature
functionality into Trac proper or putting it in a default added plugin. It
also depends on its development since it does make a difference a bit
whether it's maintained in the main repository or somewhere else.

The question still remains: what feature set?
