I guess I'm carrying some preconceived notions from other VCs.  In ClearCase, if I let a repository get too large, I definitely saw a degradation of performance.  If I understand you correctly, this isn't the case for SVN?

Sorry if this is a bit off topic, but it would certainly alleviate any need I have for multiple repository support.  That would certainly make multiple project support easier to implement.
