Hi Paulette,

The 2000C and 2000CA Loops are not sent if the patient relationship to
insured = self. See page 111 for SBR02, where individual relationship code
of 18 - self is sent if the subscriber is the same person as the patient.
Also, see 1st note on pg. 108, "If the insured and the patient are the same
person, use... skip the subsequent (PATIENT) HL, and proceed directly to
Loop ID-2300."

   (In Loop 2000C, segment PAT, element 1069 on page 155 , 156 of the IG)
There is no code for patients relationship to insured if the patient is the
insured
which would be SELF.  What are other people coding in this instance?
