We had not though of graphic elements, but it is an important issue. 
Could you help us with specifications of what the off-line editor should 
do with images. Should images be inside the XLIFF file or should they be 
referenced? Should the editor display them?

Pootle will have an open interface with which offl-line editors will be 
able to interact. We will implement interaction in our XLIFF editor, but 
would be very glad to see such interaction also in other editors such as 
poEdit or Kbabel... Again, we first need to specify, implement and 
document the Pootle side of the interface... and this will probably have 
to wait until Guntaitas has finished the work he is doing on the API.
