This is not only a Brazilian choice: AFAIK it's expected that all PO file headers will show the names of previous translators.
So we all want that. :)As you will notice in my earlier mail, project support for this type of information is not always there: OpenOffice .sdf files don't contain anything but the name of the original and target language. No translator names, dates, plurals, contact addresses. Just a long list of strings of this format:

___I don't know what the date represents: it's certainly not the date the translation was done, or the date of the "milestone" the original strings represent.
I'll try to find out why .sdf files are so bare of l10n meta- information, and if anything can be done about it...
