Well, now I'm not so sure what I wanted to say here ;=( Perhaps just that I'm not sure how easy it is to cooperate while some people are using Rosetta, but I will leave that to you to discuss :-) As for Brazilians with Pootle knowledge, I know of at least Felipe Augusto van de Wiel that has set up an experimental server for Debian. Hopefully you can represent us well there :-) As always, feel free to ask if there are issues that need to be discussed. You can only update from shell scripts if you have a guarantee that no conflicts will occur in the merge. It is safe to commit automatically from scripts if you have a guarantee that no-one else will commit from outside Pootle. OpenOffice.org and the Mozilla projects work differently and require more effort. The bulk of the stuff that are necessary for these projects (outside of the normal Pootle functionality) is provided by the translate toolkit. Because the conversion is quite a task (it takes quite a bit of time), we don't recommend that this is done from inside Pootle. It is probably better done by an automatic script running at low priority that uses the toolkit commands. The toolkit is well documented on the wiki and the translate-devel list is where most toolkit users meet. On our Pootle server we want to generate the OpenOffice.org SDF files periodically with a script.
