This thread is about supporting Decathlon projects still hosted on Pootle.

To make a start, I volunteered to do this for TuxPaint.

Thanks to Dawyne and Alaa for their comments. :)

Bummer. I thought we had that working earlier on?

Well, I've talked to Bill Kendrick (TuxPaint), and he's happy with keeping
TuxPaint on Pootle, and with me as liaison. I've already sent out a message to
tuxpaint-i18n, encouraging TuxPaint translators to register with Pootle and
have a look around.

I have commit access to the TuxPaint repo (CVS @ Sourceforge).

1. What do I do with the current TuxPaint POTs?

2. How do I update the current TuxPaint files on server?

3. Will I be able to commit updated translations manually from Pootle (as I do
on other Pootles)?

I'd like to get current files on the server ASAP.

As I've said before, language admins need access to a list of current
translators for that language. Otherwise, you don't know who's doing what! In
the new, shiny Pootle, you can now see usernames and how many strings etc.
they've done, but you don't know who they are, or how to get in contact with
them. Better communication means better results.

All this applies equally to a project admin. If I'm going to support the
TuxPaint project on Pootle, as I've promised I will, then I need the tools to
do the job.

As I've said in the bug, I hope you have the time and resources to provide
these tools. I'm getting a bit concerned, at this point, that by volunteering
for this task I've promised the TuxPaint project and its translators support
via Pootle which I can't yet provide. :S
