Hello Everyone! Has anyone out there had any experience with handheld products being tested for ESD immunity? We have a product for testing that can only be operated while being held by the operator and its only used for a few seconds at a time. IEC 801-2/IEC 1000-4-2 does not seem to address this situation. Is ESD testing required? I can't see how the product would be hit be ESD as its only operated while being held in someones hand.
