Dear Treggers, Is anyone out there aware of any other standards apart from UL1439 which specify requirements for the sharpness of edges of equipment. Our equipment meets the requirements of IEC950 clause 4.1.4 and also passes the tests contained within UL1439 but our customer insists that the edges are made safer.
We are prepared to change the process by which our equipment is manufactured but at the moment we have nothing more stringent than UL1439 against which to gauge the sharpness. Thank you in advance. Alan.
