I believe (verify my answer someone), that EMC compliance in Europe is done 
through Self-Declaration.  This is, of course, if the equipment falls under the 
EMC directive.  Medical equipment, for instance, might be a whole other 
ballgame.  Light Industrial, I believe, is something you can self-declare.

Question:  For a product (flight simulator) which would seem to be in
the "light industrial" category, does EMC (CE) certification through the
TECHNICAL CONSTRUCTION FILE path require NOTIFIED BODY or COMPETENT BODY
