I just bought a Seidio 2400 mAh replacement/extended battery for my
680. The only instructions tell me to charge it for 8 hours before
putting it into my phone for the first time. I have never seen any
prior mention of a requirement to pre-charge this battery outside the
phone, and I have no external battery charger for either this or the
OEM Treo 1200 mAh battery. What is going on here and how do I use
this battery?
