To repeat my post over on the Datebook group, if you were on cingular, now on "the new AT&T" the problem may be that you have some application thrashing around trying to connect to Cingular still. Something changed within the past 2 weeks so that the network is no longer id'd as Cingular...For example, BackupBuddy.net refused to do an automatic backup that I had restricted to the Cingular network, because of that change.
For any apps you have that may be "phoning home" (maybe to check for updates? automatic backups or downloads?) you should check your settings -- a change may be necessary to direct the program to AT&T.
