It is the radio after all. I just tried a test. Fully charged,
cellular radio on. Remove from charger and just let it sit.
Immediately the charge dropped to 97% and a couple hours later, it was
in the mid/high 80s.

Place it back on the charger and turn off the phone radio. When it was
fully charged again, I removed it from the charger and let it sit. It
again immediately dropped to 97%, but a couple hours later, it's still
at 97%.

For the record, IR is always off for me, and BT was also off.

So, next question:

Those of us with a battery issue, what cellular provider are you using,
and when did the problem start? I'm with "The new AT&T", and this
started a bit over a week ago.
