I have a client with a 680 unlocked on T-Mobile's network and it's been
very reliable for her.

Cheers,
Don

Tmobile

The behavior exists even after a hard reset and before any 3rd parts
apps.
are installed. Anyway, I can only repeat what Palm Corp. Cust Care told
me.
That the tier 3 tech support said the 680 requires a 3G SIM to function
reliably. That would point the AT&T system alone at the present time.
That
doesn't explain why your 680 has been reliable. It also doesn't make
sense
in view of the fact that Palm's technical specs do not say anything
about
requiring a 3G SIM or that the 680 isn't even 3G-capable.
