My Treo 650 died, and I got a replacement Treo 680 (I will get the 650
fixed, but that is another story). Anyway, I went to install all my apps
that were on the 650, and everything works fine except BackupBuddyVFS. I am
using the same 4GB SD card that I used on the 650 (I patched the rom on the
650 with the fat32 driver). On the 650 it worked fine. On the 680 I get
strange file not found errors, and lockups. Right now, when I try to backup
the saved preferences file, it seems to back it up, and then the Treo
freezes. The only way to unfreeze it is to take out the battery and replace
it (soft reset). This gets the machine going until I use BackupBuddyVFS
again.

Does anyone else have these problems, and is there some known solution?
Blue Nomad is telling me that they don't support sd cards bigger than 2gb on
the 680 because Palm says that they don't support cards bigger than 2gb on
the 680 (see the Palm website), which is BS because everything worked fine
on the 650 with the same card.

Apps run fine on the sd card, and TCPMP works fine with video files on the
sd card.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Steve
