I haven't had too much trouble with CS but the corporate stores (or at least
the one in my area) are horrible! I was treated quite rudely and lied to, and I
wasn't making demands or being nasty. All I was trying to do was an in-store
exchange (I had my phone, all the accessories and paperwork and a return
authorization email from Customer Care). In my experience Ecare is the best,
and telephone CS is second best, provided you call early in the day before the
call centers in India get started.

  Geez, that's never been my experience..but I
have honestly said that I can't stay with them
if I keep getting those surprises..and they
do whisk you off to retention..

  No. It's horrible.

If you ever need to call, start by saying the word cancel so you'll go to a
rep who can actually do something. Or call the Consumerist line posted
  earlier.
