The iPhone and the Treo are not comparable units. The iPhone is an mp3 player
with a phone grafted on. I hear incessant complaints (mostly from men) about
the keyboard, and the AT&T system does not have real 3G for data. Yeah, it has
wifi, but if you are used to synchronizing a device with contacts, tasks,
appointments, memos and documents, the iPhone will not meet your needs.

The Treo 'can' play mp3's (if you don't mind stuttering). It can play and show
multimedia files, but it's mostly a smartphone with data capabilities and voice
capabilities, and a keyboard which cannot be beat.

It's not even apples and oranges. It's frute and vegetables, and that might be
a stretch.
