Good recap, thanks for sharing :) Despite how scared I am of the
keyboard, I am sure we will Demo a few of them as soon as we can get the
ActiveSync running on it! (And maybe a new carrier to provide it too,
but I won't hold my breath :)

I don't think so, but maybe. Of course, there are no bumps to count, but

I can't type on the Treo without looking, either, though I can type
fairly quickly if I concentrate. (I go about 80-90 wpm on a regular
keyboard.) But after a week on the iPhone, I was getting pretty
comfortable. Pretty close to not looking though. Kind of like out of the

edge of your eye you're sort of keeping track without actually
concentrating on finger placement.
I have seen users really scream on the iPhone, so it's clear the
keyboard, once you're used to it, is darn usable.
Thing is, as I alluded, on the Treo, with Tealscript, I can write
without looking. That means I can hold the Treo, or set it on the
console, and write on the screen. I don't make any more errors than with

the keyboard.
The Treo keyboard is OK for one-handed typing, but again, I have to look

what I'm doing. Back when I only had a regular phone for texting, I
could do pretty well holding the phone and typing without looking, but
the QWERTY board makes that pretty much impossible.
So the answer it No, but if you have to pull over to type, you also
don't have to concentrate on the keypad.
