Hmmm, I've enjoyed discussions on this group for years, but I don't like when criticisms of Palm or PalmOS become off-topic. That doesn't seem very open to me. Now if someone has come on simply to blast and criticize and that's all they do, well, then that starts sounding like a Troll, but criticism in and of itself and a debate about another platform being better than PalmOS, well, that's just open discussion. It is very relevant to Palm/PalmOS, although Palm/PalmOS adherents may not like to hear such criticism. What blurs this significantly is that Palm itself has been selling Windows Mobile devices for a couple of years now under the Treo brand. So wouldn't the choice of which OS to get on your Treo phone be relevant? And if that's relevant, why not compare to other platforms? Alli, maybe you are a comoderator here, I can't remember. I know Craig is. And whatever you guys say goes, but if you truly are going to censor this group when PalmOS is criticized (or other platforms are lauded) too much for your taste, to me this becomes a not particularly open place anymore. Perhaps that's what you want, though, for this to be a place simply for loyal PalmOS fans, and that's fine, but if that's the case, please confirm it so those who don't fit this mold can go elsewhere.
