Hi,

it's worth stressing that the windows mobile standard edition - non
touchscreen, and windows mobile professional edition - touch screen are totally
different in operation and ability, professional edition has an awful lot more
functionality.

I have no issues with windows mobile 6 professional on my Treo 750 connecting
to my bluetooth car kit, whilst listening to music through the headphone socket
with an adaptor and an fm transmitter. If a call comes in the conversation is
still routed through the car kit, and the music stops, the Treo knows there is
not a headset in the headset socket.

A2DP is brilliant going running, because there's no wires to worry about, I've
recently bought a bluetooth stereo headset and can even change tracks, pause,
change volume, even start and stop windows media player, even listen walking
around the house with the Treo in another room, without touching it :o)

Regards,
Mike Dyer.

I've found (with my WinMo MotoQ) that the handsfree bluetooth works
with the car but also turns on the a2dp so I can't hear stereo through
the headset jack. Don't know if it's a WinMo issue or a MotoQ issue
but I don't have the same issue with the Treo (partly because there's
no a2dp available!)

I'm fascinated by the 3G IPhone (esp the low cost), by Windows Mobile
6, and all the other cool stuff out there, but I still can't find a
reason to leave PalmOS yet. Though I'd love to give the 800w and
Centro a chance.
