Great description of your preparations...thanks for sharing.

In case anyone is trepidatious about migrating from Palm Desktop to
the cloud, such as when upgrading to a Pre or Pixi, Palm provides an
excellent migration app that will upload all your contacts and/or
calendar entries to Google (assuming you have a Google account) and
sync them to the Pre from then on out. It works really well,
IMO...very simple and straightforward.

For those on Outlook, it's only marginally more complicated, but, as
Jim is testament to, far from impossible.
