The mobile hotspot you get with the Pre on VZW is $40/month, which breaks
down to $1.33/day.  My understanding from talking to Verizon is that you can
subscribe to that feature when you need it -- say, when traveling --  then
cancel it when you're done.  Pay for only what you need.

well, Verizon charges $15/day (75MB) for the MiFi mobile hotspot
(which is a ripoff) but $30/week (250MB) for prepaid mobile broadband.
