As others mentioned I do synch my Outlook calendar to google and have my Pre
sync to Google for calendar and GMail for contacts (although I don't use GMail
for anything else). I have my personal email synch to my Comcast email (I don't
get my work email on my Pre - don't want to). I went with Evernote for memos
because it syncs most easily.

As you can see, one thing that is definitely here is a move from a single
(Outlook) integration to a multi product integration. That seems to be the way
of the cloud.

Do use your free service calls with Palm to get things the way you want them.
They will help.

Ditto that. No matter what you move to today, you're going to have to
go to the cloud. It's what Android, iPhone, and BB use as well. Local
sync is a thing of the past.

For a crutch, if you like using Outlook, but don't use an Exchange
server, I recommend CompanionLink. It will sync your local Outlook and
Google. Or you could be really retro like me - I sync my Google to my
Palm desktop!
