It's not hard actually...it's working for me. I am syncing Outlook 2007 (with
contact photos), for calendar and contacts, up to Google via CompanionLink for
Google. My Pre then syncs it all very well with Google.

For tasks and memos, I have switched to using Evernote. The desktop version
integrates well with Outlook, and then it all syncs to my Pre.

Hang in there...once you get converted and comfortable with it all, you'll find
the Pre and WebOS to be awesome.

But if I do my contacts with Google, then I'd have to get on the Internet to

view or edit them. That seems like it'd be awkward and a step backward.

All my other PIM data is in Outlook on my PC. I'd like my contacts to be

there too, and I'd like for the contact photos to sync along with the rest

of the contact's data. What's so hard about that?

If you sync with Google, can you add them there?

Every time I get a replacement Pre I lose all the photos attached to my

contacts. Is there any way to somehow preserve the pictures in the address

book?
